Do bands have to pay to play?
No, but SVR is a fundraising event. We have urged them and their friends to help us keep music in the schools with a financial contribution in the form of sponsorship or tickets.

Are there only Silicon Valley professionals playing in these bands?
Each band has at least one Silicon Valley representative.

When will you select the bands?
We will have a firm line-up by mid-October. Exact date to be announced.

How many bands will you have?
We have time for 7 bands.

Is this a Battle of the Bands?
Not officially.

How many people are attending this event? Who attends this event?
We’re expecting 300 people. Our guests will be SV insiders who have come to support their friends and network!

How much does it cost to attend?
$35, $45, and $60 depending on when you register.

Can I get a “press pass”?
No press passes for this. It’s a fundraiser, and everyone is kindly asked to by a ticket or make a donation.

I can’t attend. Can I make a tax-deductible donation?

Can I just attend the afterparty?
All guests must buy a ticket. When you show up is up to you.

Can my kids come watch me play?
Great American is an “all ages” venue. We’d recommend finding alternative childcare arrangements for the afterparty.
